Corex Resources Ltd. (“Corex” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it will pay a special distribution to shareholders by way of return of capital, in the amount of approximately $0.42 per Corex common share (the “Common Shares”), for a total distribution amount of $20 million, which distribution will be payable on April 19, 2024, to holders of Common Shares of record as of April 12, 2024.
At the Corex Annual and Special Meeting held on June 1, 2023, Corex shareholders approved the reduction of the stated capital of the Common Shares for the purpose of Corex making distributions to shareholders of Common Shares by way of return of capital prior to June 1, 2024.
